বর্তমান আধুনিক বিশ্বায়নের যুগে তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি ভূমিকা অনস্বীকার্য। যোগাযোগের আধুনিকায়ন এবং ইন্টারনেটের বদৌলতে শুরু হয়েছে ই- লার্নিং। ই-লার্নিং মূলত অনালাইন ভিত্তিক শিক্ষা। তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ প্রযুক্তির উৎকর্ষ সাধনের ফলে ই-লার্নিং এর ধারণার উদ্ভব হয়েছে। ই-লার্নিং হল ইলেকট্রনিক লার্নিং অর্থাৎ ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহার করে কিংবা ব্যক্তিগত নেটওয়ার্ক, টেলিভিশন সিডিরম, রেডিও, ভিডিও ইত্যাদির মাধ্যমে শিক্ষা প্রদান করাই হল ই- লার্নিং। ই-লার্নিং হলো একটি আধুনিক পদ্ধতিতে পাঠদানের প্রক্রিয়া।

করোনাকালে স্বাভাবিক শ্রেণী কার্যক্রম চালু না রাখার যৌক্তিকতা রয়েছে। কারন উন্নত দেশগুলো যেখানে করোনার থাবায় কোণঠাসা সেখানে আমাদের জনবহুল দেশ অনেকটাই বিপদের মুখে। যদি শ্রেণী কার্যক্রম চালু রাখা হতো তাহলে দেশের বর্তমান করোনা পরিস্থির চিত্র আরও ভয়াবহ হত। আজকের শিক্ষার্থীরাই আমাদের ভবিষ্যৎ। আজকের শিক্ষার্থীরাই সারা বিশ্বকে দেখিয়ে দিবে আমারা তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ প্রযুক্তিতে কতোটা উন্নত। কোমলমতি শিক্ষার্থীদের কথা বিবেচনা করে শ্রেণী কার্যক্রম চালু না রাখার সিদ্ধান্ত খুবই যৌক্তিকসম্পন্ন এবং যুগোপযুগী। তাছাড়া ই-লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে ঘরে বসেই পাঠদানের সুযোগ যেখানে রয়েছে সেখানে শ্রেণী কার্যক্রম চালু রাখা মানে হল তথ্য ও প্রযুক্তিকে নিরাশ করা। তাছাড়া সবার আগে জীবন। জীবিত থাকলে শিক্ষা হবে, প্রতিষ্ঠিতও হওয়া যাবে।

বর্তমান প্রযুক্তির বদৌলতে প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রেই তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ ব্যবহার বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। এর মূল কারণ হলো তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহারের সুবিধা। নিচে তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ প্রযুক্তির আলোকে ই- লার্নিং এর সুবিধাসমূহ তুলে ধরা হল:

১. ই-লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থায় বিদ্যমান বৈষম্য কমিয়ে আনা সম্ভব। ২. ই-লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে নতুন নতুন স্কুল তৈরি না করে অনেক ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে শিক্ষাদান করা সম্ভব। ৩. ই-লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে প্রতিটা ছাত্র-ছাত্রী তাদের নিজেদের সুবিধা মতো পড়াশুনা করতে পারবে। যে বিষয়ে দূর্বল সে বিষয়ে শিক্ষকের কাছে থেকে অনলাইনে টিউশন নিতে পারবে এবং সেটাও অনেক কম খরচে। ৪. ই-লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে বিশ্বের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আপডেট সম্পর্কে সহজেই ধারণা পাওয়া যায়।

বর্তমান করোনা পরিস্থিতিতে শিক্ষা সহায়তায় ই-লার্নিং এর প্রয়োজনীয়তা বিশেষভাবে পরিলক্ষিত হলেও করোনা পরবর্তী সময়ে ই-লার্নিং আরও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখতে পারে। কারণ ইতোমধ্যে অনেক শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে শিক্ষার্থীদেরকে ই-লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে পাঠদান করাচ্ছে।

উন্নত দেশগুলোতে ই- লার্নিং এর বান্তবায়ন বেশি লক্ষ্য করা গেলেও সে অনুপাতে আমারদের দেশে ততোটা ই- লার্নিং এর বান্তবায়ন হয় নি। যদিও সরকারি ও বেসরকারি উভয় দিক থেকে এটা নিয়ে কাজ চলছে। বাংলাদেশের প্রেক্ষাপটে ই- লার্নিং বান্তবায়ন অনেকটা কঠিন এবং চ্যালেঞ্জও বটে।

বর্তমান আধুনিক বিশ্বায়নের যুগে তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি ভূমিকা অনস্বীকার্য। যোগাযোগের আধুনিকায়ন এবং ইন্টারনেটের বদৌলতে শুরু হয়েছে ই- লার্নিং। ই-লার্নিং মূলত অনালাইন ভিত্তিক শিক্ষা। তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ প্রযুক্তির উৎকর্ষ সাধনের ফলে ই-লার্নিং এর ধারণার উদ্ভব হয়েছে। ই-লার্নিং হল ইলেকট্রনিক লার্নিং অর্থাৎ ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহার করে কিংবা ব্যক্তিগত নেটওয়ার্ক, টেলিভিশন সিডিরম, রেডিও, ভিডিও ইত্যাদির মাধ্যমে শিক্ষা প্রদান করাই হল ই- লার্নিং। ই-লার্নিং হলো একটি আধুনিক পদ্ধতিতে পাঠদানের প্রক্রিয়া।

করোনাকালে স্বাভাবিক শ্রেণী কার্যক্রম চালু না রাখার যৌক্তিকতা রয়েছে। কারন উন্নত দেশগুলো যেখানে করোনার থাবায় কোণঠাসা সেখানে আমাদের জনবহুল দেশ অনেকটাই বিপদের মুখে। যদি  শ্রেণী কার্যক্রম চালু রাখা হতো তাহলে দেশের বর্তমান করোনা পরিস্থির চিত্র আরও ভয়াবহ হত। আজকের শিক্ষার্থীরাই আমাদের ভবিষ্যৎ। আজকের শিক্ষার্থীরাই সারা বিশ্বকে দেখিয়ে দিবে আমারা তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ প্রযুক্তিতে কতোটা উন্নত। কোমলমতি শিক্ষার্থীদের কথা বিবেচনা করে শ্রেণী কার্যক্রম চালু না রাখার সিদ্ধান্ত খুবই যৌক্তিকসম্পন্ন এবং যুগোপযুগী। তাছাড়া ই-লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে ঘরে বসেই পাঠদানের সুযোগ যেখানে রয়েছে সেখানে শ্রেণী কার্যক্রম চালু রাখা মানে হল তথ্য ও প্রযুক্তিকে নিরাশ করা। তাছাড়া সবার আগে জীবন। জীবিত থাকলে শিক্ষা হবে, প্রতিষ্ঠিতও হওয়া যাবে।

আমার বিদ্যালয়ও অনলাইন কার্যক্রমের সাথে সম্পৃক্ত। এ কার্যক্রমের মাধ্যমে অনলাইন ক্লাস সম্পাদিত হচ্ছে। ফলে, অন্যান্য শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের ন্যায় আমরাও ই-লার্নিং এর সাথে যুক্ত হচ্ছি।

বর্তমান প্রযুক্তির বদৌলতে প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রেই তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ ব্যবহার বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। এর মূল কারণ হলো তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহারের সুবিধা। নিচে তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ প্রযুক্তির আলোকে ই- লার্নিং এর সুবিধাসমূহ তুলে ধরা হল:

১. ই-লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থায় বিদ্যমান বৈষম্য কমিয়ে আনা সম্ভব। ২. ই-লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে নতুন নতুন স্কুল তৈরি না করে অনেক ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে শিক্ষাদান করা সম্ভব। ৩. ই-লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে প্রতিটা ছাত্র-ছাত্রী তাদের নিজেদের সুবিধা মতো পড়াশুনা করতে পারবে। যে বিষয়ে দূর্বল সে বিষয়ে শিক্ষকের কাছে থেকে অনলাইনে টিউশন নিতে পারবে এবং সেটাও অনেক কম খরচে। ৪. ই-লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে বিশ্বের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আপডেট সম্পর্কে সহজেই ধারণা পাওয়া যায়।

বর্তমান করোনা পরিস্থিতিতে শিক্ষা সহায়তায় ই-লার্নিং এর প্রয়োজনীয়তা বিশেষভাবে পরিলক্ষিত হলেও করোনা পরবর্তী সময়ে ই-লার্নিং আরও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখতে পারে। কারণ ইতোমধ্যে অনেক শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে শিক্ষার্থীদেরকে ই-লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে পাঠদান করাচ্ছে।

উন্নত দেশগুলোতে ই- লার্নিং এর বান্তবায়ন বেশি লক্ষ্য করা গেলেও সে অনুপাতে আমারদের দেশে ততোটা ই- লার্নিং এর বান্তবায়ন হয় নি। যদিও সরকারি ও বেসরকারি উভয় দিক থেকে এটা নিয়ে কাজ চলছে। বাংলাদেশের প্রেক্ষাপটে ই- লার্নিং বান্তবায়ন অনেকটা কঠিন এবং চ্যালেঞ্জও বটে।

করােনাকালে স্বাভাবিক শ্রেণী কার্যক্রম চালু না রাখার যৌক্তিকতা:

পৃথিবীর ইতিহাসে ২০২০ একটি চিরস্মরণীয় বছর হযে থাকবে। এই বছর করােনা নামক এক ভয়ঙ্কর ভাইরাসের থাবা প্রাণ কেড়ে নিযেছে বিশ্বজুড়ে লক্ষ লক্ষ মানুষের। এই ভাইরাস এতটাই সংক্রামক যে মুহুর্তের মধ্যে মানুষ থেকে মানুষে রােগ ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে। সেজন্যেই বিশ্বব্যাপী

ঘােষিত হযেছে অনির্দিষ্টকালের জন্য লকডাউন।

সামাজিক দূরত্ববিধি না মেনে এই ভাইরাসঘটিত রােগ থেকে রক্ষা পাওয়ার আপাতত আর কোন উপায় নেই। পৃথিবীজুড়ে সমস্ত প্রকার শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান এই সময় বন্ধ হয়ে গিযেছে। করােনা ভাইরাসের প্রকোপ খানিকটা কমলেও শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানগুলিকে আবার আগের মতন করে

চালানাের ঝুঁকি নেওযা যায় নি। কারণ এই সকল শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান গুলি পূর্বের মতন চালু থাকলে শারীরিক দূরত্ববিধি বজায় রাখা আদৌ সম্ভবপর হবে না। আর ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা হল পৃথিবীর ভবিষ্যৎ

এই মারণ ভাইরাসের প্রকোপকালে শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান খুলে দিয়ে পুনরায় ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের স্বাভাবিক শ্রেণী কার্যক্রম চালু রাখার ঝুঁকি নেওযার অর্থ হলাে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের স্বাস্থ্য তথা ভবিষ্যতকে এক চরম অনিশ্চয়তার মুখে ঠেলে দেওয়া। সে কারণে এমতাবস্থায় স্বাভাবিক শ্রেণী কার্যক্রম পুনর্বহাল

করার মতন ঝুঁকি নেওযা একেবারেই যুক্তিযুক্ত হতে পারে না।

ই লার্নিং এর ধারণা:

শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান গুলি বন্ধ হয়ে স্বাভাবিক শ্রেণী কার্যক্রম অনির্দিষ্টকালের জন্য অস্থায়ীভাবে স্তব্ধ হয়ে গেলেও শিক্ষার প্রচার এবং প্রসারকে থেমে

থাকতে দেওযা যায় না। এইরকম সমযেই ঘরে ঘরে বিশ্বমানের শিক্ষা পৌঁছে দেওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে উঠে এসেছে ই-লার্নিং এর ধারণা। তবে ই লার্নিং

এর এই ধারণা পুরােপুরি মহামারী পরিস্থিতি থেকে উদ্ভূত ফল নয়। এই মহামারীর বহু আগে থেকেই দূরবর্তী শিক্ষা, মুক্ত শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা,সৃজনমূলক শিক্ষা তথা শ্রেণী কার্যক্রমের সমান্তরাল কোচিং ক্লাস ইত্যাদি ক্ষেত্রে আধুনিক তথ্য ও যােগাযােগ প্রযুক্তিকে কাজে লাগিযে ই-লার্নিং এর ব্যবহার প্রচলিত ছিল। এই মহামারীর কালে ই লার্নিং এর প্রয়োজনীয়তার ব্যাপকতা অনুভূত হয়েছে মাত্র। 

ই লার্নিং এর সুবিধাসমূহ:

ই-লার্নিং পদ্ধতির অসংখ্য সুবিধাগত দিক রয়েছে। সেইসব দিকগুলির কথা ইতিপূর্বে প্রচলিত থাকলেও তা অত্যন্ত সীমিত পরিসরে আবদ্ধ ছিল।

বর্তমানে ই লার্নিং বা ইলেকট্রনিক লার্নিং ব্যবস্থার ব্যাপক প্রসারের ফলে

সমাজের সর্বস্তরে এর সুবিধাগুলি বিশেষভাবে অনুভূত হচ্ছে। তেমনি বিশেষ কয়েকটি সুবিধার কথা নিম্নে উল্লেখ করা হলাে।

১)ই লার্নিং পদ্ধতিতে যেকোনাে স্থানে বসে ইন্টারনেট সংযােগ ব্যবহার করে পাঠ গ্রহণ করা যায়। অর্থাৎ দূরত্ব শিক্ষা গ্রহণে বাধা হযে দাঁড়াতে

২)এই পদ্ধতিতে একজন দক্ষ শিক্ষক শিক্ষার্থীদের কাছে অত্যন্ত বিস্তারিতভাবে কোন বিষযকে অডিওভিজুয়াল-এর মাধ্যমে ব্যাখ্যা

করতে পারেন।

৩)একসাথে সামাজিকভাবে সমবেত হওয়ার প্রযােজনীযতা না থাকায় বয়সও শিক্ষা গ্রহণের জন্য বাধা হয়ে দাঁড়াতে পারে না।

৪) ই লার্নিং পদ্ধতিতে শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করবার খরচ তুলনামূলক ভাবে কম হওয়ায় সমাজের সর্বস্তরে এই পদ্ধতিকে প্রযােগ করে শিক্ষাবিস্তার

সম্ভব। এই পদ্ধতিকে ব্যবহার করে সামাজিকভাবে সমবেত হওযার প্রয়োজনীয়তা ফুরানাের ফলে কোভিড-১৯ এর মতন যে কোনাে সংক্রামক ব্যাধি এড়ানাে সম্ভব।

ই লার্নিং এর বাস্তবায়নের ক্ষেত্রে চ্যালেঞ্জ সমুহ:

যেকোনাে নতুন ধরনের আধুনিক ব্যবস্থা বাস্তবায়নের পথে বিভিন্ন ধরনের প্রতিকূলতা কাজ করে। ই-লার্নিং পদ্ধতিও তার ব্যাতিক্রম নয়।

ইতিপূর্বে সীমিত কিছু স্তরে এই পদ্ধতি প্রচলিত থাকলেও শিক্ষার ক্ষেত্রে ব্যাপকভাবে এই পদ্ধতির প্রযােগ বর্তমান মহামারীর কালেই প্রথম।

সুবিধাজনক এই পদ্ধতিটিকে বাস্তবে রূপদান করতে গিযে সমাজকে বেশকিছু চ্যালেঞ্জের মুখােমুখি দাঁড়াতে হয়েছে। তেমনি কয়েকটি হলাে:-

১)ই লার্নিং পদ্ধতি সমাজের অধিকাংশ মানুষের কাছেই একেবারে নতুন ধরনের হবার ফলে শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থী উভয়কেই এই পদ্ধতির সাথে মানিয়ে নেওয়ার জন্য বেশ বেগ পেতে হচ্ছে।

এখনাে অবধি তৃতীয় বিশ্বের অধিকাংশ দেশে সর্বস্তরে ইন্টারনেট সংযােগ না পৌঁছনাে প্রান্তিক অঞ্চলের সেইসব মানুষের পক্ষে ই-লার্নিং এর সুবিধা গ্রহণ করা সম্ভব হচ্ছে না।

২)তাছাড়া বিশেষত তৃতীয় বিশ্বের বহু মানুষ আর্থিকভাবে স্বচ্ছল না হওয়ার কারণে অনলাইন প্ল্যাটফর্মের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষা গ্রহণ এখনাে তাদের কাছে বিলাসিতাস্বরূপ।

ই লার্নিং এর মাধ্যমে কাঙ্খিত দক্ষতা অর্জন:

বর্তমানে শিক্ষার মূল লক্ষ্য হলাে নির্দিষ্ট ক্ষেত্রে নির্ধারিত পাঠ্যক্রমের মাধ্যমে বিশেষ দক্ষতা অর্জন করা যা একজন শিক্ষার্থীর ভবিষ্যৎ-এর

পথকে প্রশস্ত ও মসৃণ করবে। ই লার্নিং পদ্ধতির প্রযােগের প্রথম দিকে মনে করা হতাে শিক্ষক এবং শিক্ষার্থীর মুখােমুখি মিথস্ক্রিয়া না হওয়ার

দরুণ এই পদ্ধতির মাধ্যমে নির্দিষ্ট ক্ষেত্রে কাঙ্ক্ষিত দক্ষতা অর্জন করা সম্ভব নয়।

তবে এই ব্যবস্থা যত প্রসারিত হযেছে ততই ই লার্নিং সম্বন্ধে ভুল ধারণা মানুষের মন থেকে অপসারিত হয়েছে। বর্তমানে প্রমাণ হয়ে গেছে

মুখােমুখি মিথস্ক্রিযার না হওয়া সত্ত্বেও ই লার্নিং পদ্ধতিতে অডিও-ভিজুয়াল প্রেজেন্টেশনের মাধ্যমে প্রথাগত শিক্ষা পদ্ধতির থেকে আরাে ভালাে ভাবে কোন বিষযকে উপস্থাপন করা যায়। ফলে ই লার্নিং পদ্ধতি সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে কোনাে ব্যক্তির কাঙ্খিত দক্ষতা

অর্জনের পথে বাধা হয়ে দাঁড়াতে পারে না। বরং সুবিধা অনুযায়ীরেকর্ডেড ক্লাস,শিক্ষাগত উপাদান-এর সহজলভ্যতা,শিক্ষার বহুমুখী

রূপের প্রসার ইত্যাদির দ্বারা এই পদ্ধতিতে মানুষের ব্যক্তিগত দক্ষতায পূর্বের তুলনায় আরও বেশি বৃদ্ধি ঘটানাে যায়।

স্বাভাবিক সময়ে শিক্ষা সহায়তা হিসেবে ই-লার্নিং এর সম্ভাবনা:

ই লার্নিং পদ্ধতিকে এই করােনা মহামারী কালে বিশেষভাবে ব্যবহার করা হলেও এই পদ্ধতি স্বাভাবিক সমযেও শিক্ষার প্রসারে এবং

কার্যকারিতা বৃদ্ধিতে বিশেষ ভাবে ফলপ্রসূ হতে পারে। এই পদ্ধতিকে ব্যবহার করে তৃতীয় বিশ্বের দেশ গুলি স্বল্প খরচে দেশের প্রান্তিক

অঞ্চলেও শিক্ষার বিকাশ ঘটাতে পারে।

তাছাড়া এই পদ্ধতি অবলম্বন করে শিক্ষাগত বিষয়বস্তুর আকর্ষণীয় উপস্থাপনা শিক্ষার্থীদের কাছেও কোন কঠিন বিষয়কে সহজভাবে

উপস্থাপিত করতে সাহায্য করছে। এছাড়া উচ্চশিক্ষার ক্ষেত্রে বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালযগুলি ই-লার্নিং পদ্ধতিকে প্রযােগ করে দূরবর্তী স্থানে

বিশ্বমানের শিক্ষা প্রদান করতে পারে। বর্তমানকালে বিশ্বব্যাপী ইন্টারনেট সংযােগের ব্যাপক প্রসার ভবিষ্যতে ই লার্নিং পদ্ধতির
