Vietnam Airlines Grows Its Business

Vietnam Airlines has come a long way since it started out in 1956 with a fleet of five small aircraft. Last year, it took delivery of five Airbus A321s and signed a contract to buy ten Airbus narrow-bodied 321s of which the first plane will be delivered in 2006. This July it signed an agreement with Boeing to purchase four 787 Dream liners. The expansion of Vietnam Airlines fleet which also includes new Boeing 777s and Airbus A321s state of the art craft for regional travel is right on schedule.

In the first six months of 2005, the airline saw its passenger numbers increase by 25 percent, to almost 3 million. Over a third of those passengers are foreigners, and their ranks grew this year as well, by over 30 percent. Travelers are drawn by Vietnam Airlines strong domestic, regional, and international routes: the airline flies to 16 domestic locations and 26 international destinations.

Nowadays, the police have been applying the new regulation concerning the use of seat belts. In European countries, this regulation has been applied for a long time. However, this new regulation has become controversial and is an interesting topic to discuss. Here are some arguments.

The use of seat belts has been proven to reduce the risk of injury or death in an accident. Sealt belt has become a standard component in cars. The research shows that most car accident will cause an injury to the head. Frequently, drivers or the passengers driving without seat belts die because of this. By wearing the seat belts, the injury will not happen since belts restrain our body on the car seat when the accident happens.

Unfortunately, many cars, especially the old ones, don't have the seat belts. This is because the traffic conditions in the past were unlike the recent traffic conditions. The designer of old cars did not consider seat belts as an important part. Besides, the driver wearing the seat belt will think that they are completely safe so they may drive carelessly. They are safe, indeed, but how about safety of other?

The seat belt is only one of the ways to reduce the risk of car accidents. It doesn't mean that we are completely safe. In short, our safety depends on ourselves.

The TV screen blinks and a beautiful picture appears. It has many shades of blue, red, and green. Constants looks closely at the large red spot near the middle of the wheat field. He knows that something is wrong in the wheat field. He knows that something is wrong in the wheat field. The red color means the spot is warmer than its surroundings. It may be due to-lack of moisture or not enough nutrients in the soil. Insect eating the wheat can also show a red spot. Constants tells the computer to tell him more about the warm spot. The computer points out that the problem is a shortage of nitrogen in the soil. He asks the computer to predict the harvest if he adds the fertilizer. He then tells the computer the current market price for wheat. He also tells the price of the fertilizer. He asks for a costing. He wants to know if it will give him a profit to add the fertilizer. The computer gives him the answer, is it a science fiction? No, it is happening now.

Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) prosecutors have demanded the Jakarta Corruption Court sentence former Maritime Security Board (Bakamla) head of planning, Nofel Hasan, to five years' imprisonment on Wednesday.

Life went on for Muliono in this way until he became desperate. His big opportunity came when he learned about a sea voyage the two of his friends were planning. They expected to make the trip during their summer vacation. Muliono asked to join them. While they were sailing, our hero talked to his friends about the joys of hermits’ life. He talked until he finally convinced them and they decided to stop at the first island that they found. A few days after these decisions, they saw the island in the distance where they decided to live. Before they went ashore, Muliono asked the other two to make a promise not to say a word after they reached the island. They were to remain perfectly quiet during their stay. During the first few days after they landed, they built a little house where they planted a garden. The island was paradise for Muliono because this was the peace that he wanted.

We don’t live in an age of miracles, but sometimes they happen. This was a special New Year’s Eve Miracle. Maria Sarapova lives near a shopping center, and sometimes she and her sister, Anita, play near the stores. They like playing there. There are lots of people there, and she and Anita like to look at the things in the windows. But the lives of children are not sweet. They are full of fears. Children attack and chase other children. Why? Who knows? But it’s true. And it’s true in Smithtown too. Elizabeth is eleven years old and isn’t friends with bad children. She doesn’t fight. Her mother says so. And one New Year’s Eve, Maria and her sister, Anita, are playing near the stores, but they have to stop. “Maria,” says Anita. “Let’s go home. Do you see those girls over there? They go to my school. They are bad.” But it was too late. The bad girl chased Maria and Anita. They started to run. “Hurry, Maria. Let’s run across the railroad tracks. Hurry up.” The trains on the Long Island Railroad are always late. It is a fact of life on Long Island. But the 1:05 out of Ronkokoma was on time the New Year’s Eve. Vincent Lobianco was at the railroad station, 150 feet away from Maria and Anita. “Don’t cross the tracks. Go back!” Mr. Lobianco is a religious man. “Please, God, no. Don’t let it happen.” he shouted. But it did. Engine #4321 was on top of Maria in two second. Mr. Lobianco ran towards the girl, and at the same time, shouted to a taxi driver at the station. “Call ambulance. Call an ambulance. There is a little girl on the track.”

Once upon a time, there lived a group of mice under a tree in peace. However, a group of elephants crossing the jungle unknowingly destroyed the homes of all the rats. Many of them were even crushed to death. Then king of the rats decided to approach the elephant’s chief and request him to guide his herd through another route. On hearing the sad story, the elephant’s king apologized and agreed to take another route. And so, the lives of the rats were saved. One day elephants-hunters came to the jungle and t rapped a group of elephants in huge nets. Then the elephant king suddenly remembered the king of the rats. He summoned on some of the elephants of his herd, which had not been trapped, to go seek help from the king and told him about the trapped elephants. The rat king immediately took his entire group of rats and they cut open the nets which had trapped the elephant’s herd. The elephant herd was totally set free. They dance with joy and thank the rats.
