ROOM ASSIGNMENTS: April 2022 Pharmacist Licensure Exam

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Pharmacy releases the list of room assignments for the April 2022 Pharmacist Licensure Exam few days before the exams.

The April 2022 Pharmacist board exams will be conducted on April 3-4, 2022 at fifteen (15) testing locations around the country including Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The Board of Pharmacy is headed by its OIC, Mr. Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago, and its members, Dr. Mildred B. Oliveros and Ms. Adelina C. Royo.

Examinees are advised to verify the room assignments to the links below or through the notices and announcements to be posted at the PRC official website. Here is the list of room assignments for the April 2022 Pharmacists licensure exams.

Examinees shall report before 5:30 in the morning on the said date because late comers will not be admitted.

What to bring on the day of exams?

Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:

  • Notice of Admission
  • Official Receipt
  • One (1) piece of metered-stamped window mailing envelope
  • Two (2) or more pencils (NO. 2)
  • Ball pens (black ink only)
  • One (1) piece long brown envelope
  • One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
  • Health Forms (Pursuant to Memorandum No. 68, series of 2020)
  • Negative RT-PCR Test Results, if applicable, or Certificate of Quarantine (Pursuant to Memorandum No. 68, series of 2020)

What to wear on examination day?

Here are the specified dress codes from PRC:

  • For male examinees, white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
  • For female examinees, white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks

Not allowed during exams

  • Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded information or formulas
  • Calculators which are programmable or with embedded functions especially CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus
  • Apple, Samsung and other smart watches, cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth and other electronic devices which may be used for communication purposes
  • Bags of any kind

Board exams during the COVID-19 pandemic

The following precautionary health and safety guidelines shall be observed at all times during the conduct of the PRC licensure exams:

  • Wearing of face mask and face shield. Examinees are also required to bring alcohol-based sanitizers.
  • Examination personnel shall be provided with face mask, face shield and latex gloves.
  • Observe physical distancing by maintaining 1-meter distance from one another.
  • Body temperature will be checked using thermal scanner prior to entry at examination premises. Those with fever, colds or cough are not allowed to take the exams. Their payment will not be forfeited and can be used in the next licensure exam.
  • Examinees are advised to bring their food as they will not be allowed to exit the examination room during break time and lunch time.
  • Examinees shall sanitize before entering the examination room, after using the rest room and before distribution of test questionnaires.

PRC added that they will not be responsible of any lost personal belongings.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the room assignments for the November 2023 Pharmacist Licensure Exam (PHLE)  a few days before the examination.

This year’s second Pharmacist Licensure Exam (PHLE) will be conducted on November 2-3, 2023.

Room Assignments

Below are room assignments for the November 2023 Pharmacist Licensure Exam (PHLE) :

Examinees shall report before 6:30 in the morning on the said date because latecomers will not be admitted.

Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:

  • Apple, Samsung and other smart watches, cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth and other electronic devices which may be used for communication purposes;
  • Bags of any kind (place your documents inside the transparent/plastic envelope)
  • Other examination aides not stated in this program

All personal belongings of the examinees shall be surrendered to the proctor and shall be placed in a secured space within the examination room.

The rules on the conduct of bodily search, an inspection of personal belongings of the examinees, and the seizure/confiscation of prohibited items during the licensure exam (Annex A of PRC Memorandum Order No. 57, s. 2020) shall be strictly observed.

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the complete list of room assignments and instructions for the April 2024 Pharmacy Licensure Examination (PhLE).

The first Pharmacist board exam this year will be conducted in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on April 16 and 17.

Update: PRC announced on April 11 that Legazpi, Tacloban, and Pagadian have been removed as testing centers in the conduct of the April 2024 PhLE.

Manila, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the room assignments for the June 2021 Pharmacist Licensure Exam (PhLE) for testing locations in National Capital Region (NCR)/ Metro Manila, Baguio, Davao, Lucena, Tacloban and Tuguegarao.

Originally, the June 2021 Pharmacists Licensure Exam was scheduled on April 25-26, 2021 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and all its ripple effects, it was rescheduled on June 29-30, 2021.

The licensure exams for professional pharmacists will be administered by the Board of Pharmacy headed by its Chairman, Dr. Adelina C. Royo, and its members, Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago and Mildred B. Oliveros.

Here are the room assignments for the June 2021 Pharmacist Licensure Exam, courtesy of PRC:

Manila/ NCR

Phle coverage, examination attire.

Male examinees are required to wear white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo or mark) and decent pants or slacks.

For female examinees, white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo or mark) and decent skirt or slacks.

What to bring?

Don’t forget the following on examination day:

  • Notice of Admission (NOA)
  • Official Receipt
  • Two (2) or more pencils (No. 1 or No. 2)
  • Ball pens with BLACK ink only
  • One (1) piece long brown envelope
  • One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
  • Health forms
  • Negative RT-PCR Test Results, if applicable, or Certificate of Quarantine

Examinees are not allowed to bring books, notes or similar items in the examination room. Programmable calculators as well as electronic gadgets such as apple and samsung products are not allowed either. Bags of any kind are also not allowed inside the examination premises.

Precautionary Measures

The following precautionary measures shall be observed during the conduct of the PhLE:

  • Wearing of face mask and face shield
  • Sanitizing using alcohol and hand-based sanitizers whenever necessary
  • Physical Distancing of one (1) meter at all times
  • Those with fever and cold are not allowed to take the exam
  • Observe proper hygiene at all times

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,390 out of 3,828 passed the Pharmacist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Pharmacy in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this November 2022.

The members of the Board of Pharmacy who gave the licensure examination are  Dr. Adelina C. Royo , Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Mildred B. Oliveros and Mr. Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago , Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examination.           

On December 16, December 19 - 21 and December 26 - 28, 2022, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line.  Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.  Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope.   Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER .

The list of room assignments for the October 2023 Pharmacists Licensure Exam is released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) days before the exams. See room assignments for examinees below!

The exams will be conducted in different parts of the Philippines, including NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. It will take place on November 2 and 3, 2023.

The exam is administered by the Board of Pharmacists which is composed of MILDRED B. OLIVEROS , Chairman, ADELINA C. ROYO , Member and ANTHONY ALDRIN C. SANTIAGO , Member.

Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:

  • Official Receipt of payment of application for examination
  • One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
  • One (1) piece long brown envelope
  • Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
  • Ball pens (black ink only)
  • One (1) Non-programmable calculators with the following features – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, trigonometric function, logarithm and x y
  • Forms of Health (Pursuant to Joint Administrative Order No. 01 (s 2020))
  • Negative RT-PCR Test Results, if applicable, or Certificate of Quarantine or Copy of Vaccination Card for fully vaccinated examinees to the proctor on the exam day

What NOT to bring on exam day?

  • Coded information or formulas that can be found in books, notes, review materials, and other printed sources.
  • Calculators which are programmable or with embedded functions, especially CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus
  • Cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, smart watches, bluetooth, and other electronic gadgets/devices which may be used for communication purposes;
  • Any type of bag
  • Other examination aides not stated

What to wear on exam day?

  • For male examinees, a tucked-in white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark) paired with decent pants or slacks.
  • For female examinees, a tucked-in white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark) paired with decent pants or slacks.

COVID-19 protocols during the exam day

During the PRC licensure exams, the following precautionary health and safety rules must be followed at all times:

  • Observe physical distancing of at least two (2) meters between examinees.
  • Examinees shall be restricted to their assigned seat;
  • Wear face mask (at least 3-ply surgical mask, preferably N95 mask) and face shield at all times; 
  • Bring 70% ethyl alcohol for hand disinfection;
  • Avoid close contacts like “beso-beso”, hugging, handshake, and directly touching other persons;
  • Avoid touching one’s eyes, nose, and mouth;
  • When sneezing and/or coughing, facial tissues must be used to wipe the nose and mouth areas. Dispose of used facial tissues properly; and
  • Avoid spitting in public, on floors, and along corridors.
