In-app purchases often play a significant part in enhancing app experience. These 15 best problem solving game apps for kids will truly make them think.

I know I'm not the only one who feels just a tad less guilty about extra screen time for my kids when they're engaged with an app that is helping them learn. Having a folder of problem-solving game apps for kids lets them exercise their minds and stretch their imaginations instead of just zoning out like they do while watching endless unboxing videos. (Although, I admit, those videos are oddly fascinating.)

Educational apps for kids aren't necessarily hard to come by and your kids likely already have a few that they love. However, these games will help kids hone in on specific problem-solving skills in various forms to keep their minds sharp and give them the chance to learn new things. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends kids engage with apps that "require more than 'pushing and swiping,'" which these 15 problem-solving game apps certainly do.

Strategy and planning are key components to solving any problem, so it is no surprise that all of these games help to make these concepts come to life for kids in a way that is fun and engaging. STEM-forward games engage physics and engineering to help kids create and invent to solve mechanical and structural problems, while traditional puzzle games allow kids to use their strategical skills to put together digital riddles.

The problem-solving power of puzzles cannot be overstated, and apps like Tozzle bring practice of this skillset right to your toddler's digital-loving fingertips. Instead of tripping over a pile of puzzles in your child's floor and risking losing critical pieces, let them explore the 40+ puzzles available on Tozzle. Designed for kids from toddler through early elementary, Tozzle's puzzles range in complexity so there is truly something for every kid.

Cut The Rope

My own kids adore playing this game. The goal of the game Cut The Rope is to feed a cute little monster named Om Nom as much candy as you can. The trick though is that to feed him, you must strategically cut a rope that the candy is hanging from so that it drops in Om Nom's mouth, dodging obstacles along the way. It's actually harder than it looks and requires quite a bit of critical thinking. Best suited for kids ages 4 and up, I have played this one myself a time or two, and it is actually entertaining and engaging for adults as well.

What do you get when you combine the physics of water with puzzles? The problem-solving app Busy Water . Kids can use their critical thinking skills to use pipes, wheels, blocks, and paddles to help Archie the fish find his way out of the open water and back into his fish tank. Aimed at children ages 6 to 10, this app will help engage children's creativity, as well as stretch their cognitive ability and reasoning skills.

Laugh & Learn Shapes & Colors

These 15 best problem solving game apps for kids will engage their brains and help them learn.

Even babies and toddlers can learn through simplistic problem solving apps. Designed for babies ages 6 months and up, this app by Fisher Price features a baby and toddler-friendly design with bright colors and simple shapes to sort. Two levels of play allow babies and toddlers to learn through tapping or tilting the screen to move the shapes and hear their names.

Mystery Math Town

Older kids who could benefit from brushing up on their math skills can do exactly that while enjoying the problem-solving app Mystery Math Town . The app engages kids in a mission to help a friendly ghost rescue fireflies hidden within Mystery Math Town by using math skills like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to unlock passages and enter rooms. The app is customizable to fit your child's specific math needs, but recommended for kids aged 7 and up.

Savings Spree

As an adult, I can confidently say that money can sometimes causes big problems that must be solved. Let your kids learn how to mitigate money issues before they get their hands on the real thing with the Savings Spree app . Kids ages 7 and up can practice problem solving skills related to money by engaging in the game show-style format of this game, choosing when to spend, save, invest, or donate their virtual money.

Inventioneers

For kids who love to experiment and invent new things, the Inventioneers app allows them to do so in a digital way. Kids ages 4 and up can build with 50+ objects and tools that utilize physics and engineering to create inventions that solve problems for the three fun Inventioneers characters working within the app.

Where's My Water?

This Disney app allows your kids to practice their problem-solving skills while also bringing attention to the global issue of clean water access. In Where's My Water? players must cut through dirt and manipulate pipes to deliver clean water through a sewer system to Swampy the alligator. Additional scenarios to solve involve creating steam to power another alligator's musical instrument and clearing algae from a picky alligator's plate.

Winky Think Logic Puzzles

The logic puzzles included in the Winky Think app start out easy, but get increasingly harder as the levels progress. From matching shapes and colors, to twisting and switching objects to maneuver through puzzles, each game encourages players to use reasoning skills as they work through each level. The lower levels of the app are best suited for kids around age 5, but older kids and teens can work through the low levels quickly and be challenged through 180 levels.

Shiny Picnic

Kids can learn new skills with these 15 best problem solving game apps for kids.

The Shiny Picnic app provides engaging and fun game play for toddlers and preschoolers to practice their problem-solving skills. Kids can sort and match objects like fruits and vegetables by color, following along with the game's fun animal characters as they help the crew pack for and set up picnics.

'The Cat In The Hat' Builds That

If your kids love The Cat In The Hat , this PBS Kids app will help them hone in on problem-solving skills right alongside their favorite feisty feline. Kids can engineer their own creations to help solve dilemmas using physics and scientific concepts. Preschoolers will love this fun and easy-to-explore app set in a backyard where The Cat In the Hat and friends build tree houses, playgrounds, and more.

When you combine STEM concepts with traditional logic games, you get a game that kids can truly get lost in while learning about engineering, physics, and mechanics. Kids ages 3 to 8 can help the adorable monster creatures in the app Thinkrolls make their way through obstacle courses by manipulating objects to clear paths and trying different methods to finish the game.

Cyberchase 3D Builder

This app from PBS Kids uses geometry and three-dimensional shapes to help take traditional puzzle games to the next level. Kids ages 6 and up are tasked with using shapes to re-build the city of Botropolis after it is accidentally zapped by Delete and Buzz from the classic Cyberchase game .

The Zoombinis app is a recreation of the classic '90s computer game Logical Journey of the Zoombinis , which stars tiny blue creatures attempting to journey home. In this app, kids will solve logic puzzles that engage analyzation skills, pattern creation, and more within each level in order to unlock each additional level until the Zoombinis complete their travels and wind up back at home.

Tami's Tower

The Tami's Tower app allows kids to use their problem-solving skills to build towers that help Tami the tiger reach fruit to eat. Created by the Smithsonian Institute , the game takes basic engineering predicaments and allows kids to stretch their minds to create solutions to those problems by stacking and manipulating objects.

How to Develop an iOS App: A Comprehensive Guide for Beginners

Unlocking the doors to the world of iOS development: A step-by-step guide on how to develop an iOS app by our iOS developer and mobile team lead.

In today’s tech-centric world, the smartphone has become an intimate companion for billions. Among these, iPhones hold a special place for many, revered not only for their aesthetic appeal but also for the seamless user experience they offer.

The allure of iOS apps, with their exquisite design and intuitive interfaces, plays a pivotal role in this experience. Therefore, becoming an iOS developer unlocks the door to the vast world of Apple users and is a testament to one’s commitment to quality, design, and user-centricity .

For those who are passionate about making a tangible impact through beautifully crafted apps, iOS development is an avenue that promises both creative satisfaction and impressive career opportunities.

To become an iOS Developer is to embark on a journey filled with innovation, creativity, and endless opportunities. It’s a path that demands a blend of technical acumen, artistic flair, and an understanding of what makes users tick. Let’s investigate the topic and learn how to develop an iOS app .

How to develop an iOS step by step?

If you aim to make a mark in mobile technology, these steps are your roadmap. They lead from programming basics to the art of engaging apps.

1. Foundations of programming

Embarking on the journey of iOS development requires a strong grasp of foundational programming concepts. Like constructing a building, one must lay a robust foundation before shaping the upper layers.

Swift:  Apple’s Swift programming language is the gateway to the iOS ecosystem . Introduced in 2014, Swift balances power with user-friendly syntax. Newcomers find its intuitive design a welcome starting point, and Swift Playgrounds, Apple’s interactive tool, revolutionizes learning by transforming abstract coding concepts into engaging hands-on tasks. You can learn more at  Swift’s official website .

Core Concepts:  Beyond language fluency , mastering the tenets of programming is imperative. Think of variables as containers holding data, like nouns in a sentence. Loops, on the other hand, are your repetitive tasks managers, ensuring efficiency in repeated actions.

Conditionals, pivotal in guiding your program’s decision-making, act like a navigator deciding routes based on the lay of the land. Functions bundle tasks into reusable segments, optimizing code and minimizing repetition.

Diving deeper, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles anchor iOS development. Here, problems are visualized in terms of objects and their interactions. This approach fosters organized, scalable, and maintainable app structures. While terms like classes and inheritance might seem daunting initially, they become integral to your programming toolkit with practice.

In summary, foundational programming is more than just syntax — it’s a mindset. It’s about deciphering problems, designing solutions, and elegantly translating ideas into functional code, forming the bedrock of your iOS development voyage.

2. Setting up your developer’s toolbox

Every craftsman requires the right tools to produce work of excellence, and the realm of iOS development is no exception.

Mac Computer:  To embark on this journey, the first and most fundamental tool you’ll need is a Mac computer. Whether it’s an iMac, MacBook Pro, or even a MacBook Air, a Mac isn’t just a preference — it’s a prerequisite. Apple’s ecosystem is intertwined, ensuring seamless integration between hardware and software. This synergy provides a more efficient and stable development environment, offering developers a hassle-free space to bring their visions to life.

Xcode:  Once you’ve secured your Mac, the next tool on your list is Xcode, Apple’s official Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for iOS. Think of Xcode as your all-in-one Swiss army knife. From code editors that highlight syntax errors and auto-complete suggestions to simulators that let you test your applications on different iOS devices, Xcode is a powerhouse. Its Interface Builder allows for intuitive UI/UX design, ensuring that your apps work well and look and feel fantastic. Plus, its embedded debugger ensures you can track down and fix errors efficiently.

3. Immerse yourself in iOS fundamentals

Creating apps for iOS is more than just writing code; it’s about understanding the very fabric of the platform.

UIKit:  At the heart of iOS interface components lies the UIKit framework. UIKit provides the architectural backbone for constructing graphical, event-driven applications. Familiarize yourself with its wide array of user interface objects. From the basic elements like buttons and labels to more complex components like tables and collection views, mastering UIKit is crucial . This library empowers you to create visually appealing and intuitively interactive interfaces.

Storyboard & Interface Builder:  Visual learners, rejoice! The storyboard, coupled with the Interface Builder in Xcode, offers a graphical canvas to design and prototype a user interface without writing a single line of code. It’s a sandbox where you can visualize the flow and design of your app, linking screens (known as View Controllers) and setting up transitions. This visual approach not only speeds up the development process but also aids in spotting design inconsistencies.

MVC Design Pattern:  Code, when unorganized, can quickly devolve into chaos. The Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern comes to the rescue by providing a structured approach to organizing your code. In simple terms:

  • The model manages the data and the business rules.
  • View handles the display and user interface.
  • The controller acts as an intermediary, linking the Model and View.

By segregating responsibilities, MVC ensures your application is scalable , maintainable, and easier to debug, forming the architectural foundation for most iOS applications.

MVC is a must for beginners. Once you master it, it’s recommended to move forward with MVP, MVVM, and VIPER.

4. Sharpen your skill set

The journey of mastering iOS development is reminiscent of sculpting from a block of marble. Once you’ve carved out the basic form, the intricate chiseling and detailed refining bring the masterpiece to life. As you transition from understanding the fundamentals, the next phase calls for delving deeper, focusing on the nuances that can dramatically enhance the quality of your applications . This is about precision, about harnessing advanced techniques and tools that elevate your apps from merely functional to genuinely remarkable.

Auto Layout:  With an ever-evolving array of devices in Apple’s lineup, creating a one-size-fits-all design is a developer’s challenge and dream. Auto Layout is the magic wand that transforms this dream into reality. By setting rules for your interface elements, you ensure that whether your user is on an iPhone Mini or an expansive iPad Pro, your application’s interface remains consistent, user-friendly, and visually appealing.

SwiftUI:  As the proverbial saying goes, “Change is the only constant.” And in the tech world, this rings especially true. SwiftUI stands as Apple’s vanguard in UI toolkits. Reimagining how developers approach design streamlines the coding process, allowing you to do more with less . The real-time preview, a standout feature, bridges the gap between imagination and realization, rendering your visions instantly.

Memory Management:  Efficiency and optimization are at the heart of any stellar application. A fundamental yet often overlooked aspect, effective memory management can be the dividing line between an app that’s swift and responsive and one that’s sluggish and crash-prone. Grasping concepts like Automatic Reference Counting (ARC) ensures your apps promise and deliver a top-tier user experience .

5. Hands-on: Building real apps

The beauty of learning is in its application. No matter how extensive, theory finds its true value when applied to real-world scenarios. After equipping yourself with knowledge and tools, the next logical step is to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. In this phase of tangible creation , the abstract concepts you’ve learned are molded into concrete products. Whether it’s a simple project to test the waters or an intricate design challenge that stretches your capabilities, every app you build is a testament to your growth, a reflection of your evolving expertise.

Simple Projects:  Every long journey begins with a single step. And in the realm of app development, simple projects act as these foundational steps. Crafting straightforward apps provides a sandbox environment, a controlled space where you can apply what you’ve learned, witness your triumphs, and learn from your missteps.

Intermediate Projects:  With foundational projects under your belt, the horizon expands. Now’s the time to challenge yourself, to venture into uncharted waters with apps that demand more. Whether creating multi-screen experiences , integrating sophisticated user inputs, or connecting to the vast web, every new project sharpens your problem-solving prowess.

Third-Party Libraries:  In the grand tapestry of iOS development, you’re not weaving alone. A robust community of developers (seasoned and new) contributes to this ecosystem. Tapping into third-party libraries is like accessing a communal toolbox, rich with tools and enhancements that can elevate your apps, saving time and introducing you to new methodologies.

6. Broadening horizons

The world of iOS development, vast and varied, is akin to an ocean of opportunities. Once you’ve grasped the foundational aspects, you must broaden your horizons, venturing into deeper waters and embracing more advanced concepts. These technical arenas add layers of functionality and robustness to your applications and elevate you from a novice to a more seasoned developer capable of handling various challenges.

Databases:  In today’s digital age, data is the new gold . An app’s value often hinges on its ability to store, retrieve, and manage data efficiently. While some apps require minimal data storage, others rely heavily on intricate databases. Enter tools like Core Data and Realm. Core Data, an Apple framework, offers rich functionalities to manage object graphs and persist data. On the other hand, Realm, a third-party database, is known for its lightweight and high-speed operations . Mastery of these tools ensures your apps remain data-efficient, delivering seamless user experiences.

Networking:  The power of an app often lies in its connectivity. Whether fetching weather updates, streaming videos, or accessing user profiles, networking is the bridge between your app and the vast expanse of the internet. Mastering techniques to send and receive data allows you to turn your standalone app into a global entity, connected and current.

Version Control:  As you dive deeper into app development, managing your codebase becomes paramount. Think of version control as a time machine for your code. Tools like Git allow you to track and revert changes and facilitate collaboration. Whether working solo or as part of a team, Git acts as your safety net, ensuring that every code change is tracked, managed, and recoverable.

7. Stay updated & network

The technological realm is marked by its rapid pace of change. What’s relevant today might be obsolete tomorrow. As an aspiring iOS developer, it’s not just about acquiring skills but about staying updated, always being on the cusp of innovation. But beyond technical acumen, the essence of growth also lies in community, shared knowledge, and collective progress.

WWDC:  Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is more than just an event — it’s a beacon for developers worldwide. Annually, Apple unveils its latest technologies, tools, and visions here. By staying in tune with WWDC, you’re not just updated; you’re ahead of the curve, primed to leverage the latest advancements in your projects.

Best Practices:  In the vast world of coding, it’s not just about making things work; it’s about doing it efficiently and effectively. Regularly immerse yourself in literature, blogs, articles, or journals, to stay abreast of the latest best practices, coding standards, and innovative methodologies.

10. Embrace feedback

Perfection is a journey, not a destination. As you progress, remember that every piece of code and project can be improved. Growth in the tech space is often iterative, and feedback is the compass that guides this evolution.

Code Reviews:  Subjecting your work to the scrutiny of peers or mentors is invaluable. These reviews offer fresh perspectives, uncover hidden flaws, and introduce alternative solutions. They’re a collaborative learning experience where you benefit from collective wisdom.

Iterate:  Every piece of feedback is an opportunity. Whether it’s a code optimization suggestion or a user experience enhancement, always be ready to iterate and refine. Strive for excellence, knowing you are an inch closer to perfection with every revision, becoming a more adept and insightful developer.

Conclusion: Charting a path to success in iOS development

Becoming a proficient iOS developer is a journey of constant learning, adaptability, and passion. From understanding the foundational tenets of programming to networking and receiving feedback, every step is instrumental in molding a holistic developer. It’s crucial to remember that resting on one’s laurels isn’t an option in this ever-evolving technological landscape. Continuous learning, engagement with the community, and openness to change differentiate a good developer from a great one .

Moreover, your journey doesn’t exist in isolation. The vast community of developers, mentors, and peers is a collective wisdom and support reservoir. Engaging actively, seeking feedback, and sharing knowledge propels your personal growth and enriches the broader ecosystem.

Lastly, as you navigate this intricate path, never lose sight of the core reason that drove you to iOS development. Be it the thrill of creation , the joy of problem-solving , or the desire to make an impact — hold onto that spark. Let it fuel your endeavors, inspire your learning, and guide you toward a fulfilling and successful career in iOS development.

Does a job listing mean Apple TV is getting an Android phone app?

The Apple TV app listing in Google Play.

Let’s read way too much into a job listing from Apple . Spurred by a (paywalled) piece from Bloomberg under the headline “Apple Signals That It’s Working on TV+ App for Android Phones,” the reblogging industry is all atwitter over the idea that an Apple TV app may be coming to Android phones and tablets. And it might!

But the following two things also are true: The job listing in no way points to a mobile app. (Go ahead, read it yourself.) And there already is, in fact, an Android app for Apple TV, presumably one with Apple software engineers behind it.

Let’s back up, because “Apple TV” applies to a bunch of places, and we need to narrow things down. There’s Apple TV 4K , the hardware. It’s the best streaming device you can buy . Then there’s Apple TV, the app. On Apple devices, it’s just called “TV.” On other platforms, it’s called “Apple TV.” Then there’s Apple TV+ , the streaming service, which we’re not talking about.

  • Google just announced 7 big Android updates. Here’s what’s new
  • The Google app on your Android phone is getting a helpful new feature
  • Android 15 release date: When will my phone get the update?

The word “mobile” doesn’t appear in Apple’s job listing. Not once. The only possible hint that the job listing could pertain directly to phones is in the first sentence of the summary: “The Apple TV app team is looking for a proactive, hardworking, and experienced senior android engineer to lead the development of fun new features, and to help build an application used by millions to watch and discover TV and sports.”

Spot it? An application used by millions . That’s gotta mean Android phones, right?

I’m not convinced. That very much reads like the sort of language you’d put in an Apple job description. Everything Apple does is used by millions. (OK, maybe not everything.)

But what about the first sentence in the description section? “The Apple TV App team is responsible for delivering innovative TV and Sports features and manage the app on iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, visionOS, macOS, Windows, and Android platforms.” It says Android right there!!!

Indeed, it does. And as I’m typing this, I’m watching the Apple TV app play on the Onn 4K Pro. An Android app. On an Android device. Its package name in Google Play is com.apple.atve.androidtv.appletv . Yes, that’s specifically for Android TV and Google TV, as it should be. And it’s very much the sort of thing someone in the job description would be able to work on, seeing as how it’s an Android app and all. (There’s a separate package for Sony TVs running the Google TV platform, too. So that’s actually two Android apps.)

Do I hope there’s a proper mobile app for Apple TV at some point? Yeah. I do. It’s a little odd that there isn’t already. Presumably, someone has a pretty good reason for that. (And if they want to let me know what that is, my email’s on this post.)

But we all need to be careful not to read too much into too little just yet.

You don’t need your hands to control your Android phone anymore. At Google I/O 2024, Google announced Project Gameface for Android, an incredible new accessibility feature that will let users control their devices with head movements and facial gestures.

There are 52 unique facial gestures supported. These include raising your eyebrow, opening your mouth, glancing in a certain direction, looking up, smiling, and more. Each gesture can be mapped to an action like pulling down the notification shade, going back to the previous app, opening the app drawer, or going back to home. Users can customize facial expressions, gesture sizes, cursor speed, and more.

After what's felt like an eternity on Android 12, Google announced today at its Google I/O developer conference in California that the codebase that underpins some 220 million devices a month is getting an update to Android 14.

The nomenclature gets a little weird since we're talking about Android TV and Google TV — both of which run on a bunch of devices that might or might not be televisions. But the bottom line is that at some point in the relatively near future, your favorite Android TV device should be running a version that's less than three years old.

Google I/O, the annual everything-Google-software fest, has kicked off. As usual, Android takes center stage. From enhanced privacy and Google Wallet upgrades to theft detection and app safety checkups, there’s a lot to look forward to here.

From Android 15 features to more general Android updates, here’s a breakdown of all the major Android announcements from I/O 2024. Making life easier with Google Wallet

Apple elaborates on rare iOS 17.5 bug that resurfaced deleted photos

Avatar for Chance Miller

Earlier this week, Apple released iOS 17.5.1 to address a rare problem where deleted photos would reappear on a user’s device after installing iOS 17.5. In the release notes, Apple said this was caused by “database corruption.” The company has now confirmed a few additional details to 9to5Mac to further clarify the situation.

iCloud’s involvement

One question many people had is how images from dates as far back as 2010 resurfaced because of this problem. After all, most people aren’t still using the same devices now as they were in 2010. Apple confirmed to me that iCloud Photos is not to be blamed for this. Instead, it all boils to the corrupt database entry that existed on the device’s file system itself.

According to Apple, the photos that did not fully delete from a user’s device were not synced to iCloud Photos. Those files were only on the device itself. However, the files could have persisted from one device to another when restoring from a backup, performing a device-to-device transfer, or when restoring from an iCloud Backup but not using iCloud Photos.

Photos reappearing on sold devices? Nope.

In a now-deleted post , a Reddit user last week alleged that their photos reappeared on an iPad they sold to a friend, despite them having erased the content of that iPad prior to selling it. Apple tells me that this claim was false.

The company says that after a device has been completely erased using the steps below, all files and content are permanently deleted.

  • Open “Settings”
  • Choose “General”
  • Choose “Transfer or Reset”
  • Choose “Erase All Content and Settings”

Following these steps, everything is permanently deleted from the user’s device and there is no chance of old photos resurfacing down the line. In the Reddit user’s situation, they likely didn’t follow the correct steps when resetting their device before selling it … or they fabricated the situation hoping to earn some Reddit karma.

A rare problem

Top comment by ted.

I actually intended to install iOS 17.5 just want to trigger this bug. I have an old 2018 iPad Pro, never factory reset during my 5 years of use. Used to have some photos that I either deleted or exported but lost forever. Last week I transferred data directly from that 2018 iPad to the new M4 iPad Pro that runs iOS 17.5. Haven’t seen anything yet.

Maybe I should try update my 2018 iPad Pro to 17.5 as well, but according to this article, if the bug appears, the old photos should appear on my new iPad as well.

Apple repeatedly emphasizes that this problem was rare and affected a small number of users and a small number of photos. The company did not and does not access a user’s photos or video.

This is still a disconcerting issue, but there is comfort to be taken in the fact that the photos in question were not stored in iCloud and could not have resurfaced on a device after it was properly erased and sold.

Also to note : iOS 17.5.1 doesn’t automatically re-delete photos that reappeared after updating to iOS 17.5. If you were affected by this problem, you’ll need to go to the Photos app and manually delete those images. The images will then be moved to the “Recently Deleted” album in the Photos app, where they will remain for 30 days. You can choose to immediately delete those images by choosing “Delete from All Devices” in the “Recently Deleted” album.

New update issued for samsung messages crashing problem.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is one of the models affected by the Messages bug.

If you haven’t been able to send texts through the Samsung Messages app, you’re not alone. The native messaging app on Samsung phones has been causing thousands of users a litany of problems over the last day or so.

According to complaints, users have said that once they start a conversation in Messages, the app will immediately crash. “I think something [got] corrupted because all of a sudden, any time I open any text chats I have, the app crashes now,” one user complained on Reddit .

“I've restarted my phone multiple times. I've gone to Settings > App Settings > Messages > Storage and hit clear cache and clear data. When I do this, the space used for cache and data go down to 0, but then immediately go back up to the original storage amounts when I reopen Messages,” one Samsung community forums poster explained .

It looks like the bug affects several different Galaxy devices, including the S24, S23, S22, S21 and others. In some cases, users have complained about losing their contacts.

A Samsung community forum moderator explains that an update has been released to fix the Messaging ... [+] app bug.

NSA Warns iPhone And Android Users To Turn It Off And On Again

The good news is that Samsung began looking into the issue yesterday, advising affected users to force stop the Google Meet app. A recent update to the video conferencing platform was clashing with Messages and causing it to crash. Another update from a moderator on the Samsung Community forums explained that Google has now issued another update to Meet, which should solve the problem. Users are are advised to head to the Play store and update Google Meet.

The new update has only been out for a few hours, so we will have to see if the patch solves the crashing problem. But Galaxy phone owners who followed Samsung’s advice to force stop Google Meet said it did work.

This is the second serious device issue Samsung users have faced en-masse recently. Last month, owners of the Galaxy S21 range, Z Flip 3 and some cheaper handsets, complained about a green line suddenly appearing across their displays.

Some claimed that the green lines popped up after an OS update, but a repair expert I spoke with said it’s likely down to OLED damage. Whatever the cause, Samsung India began offering free screen replacements for affected users of the Galaxy S20, S21, Note 20 and S22 handsets.

This app is very helpful. It has some results error like Y=|ln(x)| the app said the range is (- infini, infini) which is not true the range is [0, infini) , but it saves me a lot of time to complete my assignment.
