Share it on:

DU grading system 2024 is based on the CBCS grading scheme of 0 to 10 points. Candidates must secure 40% in both theory and practical to qualify with ‘Pass’ status.

DU Grading System 2024: Passing Mark & Grade Point System

DU grading system 2024 and DU passing mark have undergone several changes. As per the new grading system in DU scheme, the distribution of weightage on end-semester examinations will be lower than the internal assessment, which is 56% and 90 out of 160 marks, making it 45:55 in terms of ratio.

Officials remarked that the changes had been brought in after implementing the new framework under NEP 2020.

  • DU Passing Criteria

Important Pointers: DU Grading System

The varsity’s latest amendment states they will follow the CBCS grading system DU instead of percentage. DU grading system 2024 is a translation of the percentage secured by the candidates in the exams in a grade point system.

Students will be graded from 0 to 10 and awarded letter grades. Candidates can check the table below to understand the DU grade point structure.

DU Grading System 2024
Marks >=80 and Marks 10
Marks >=70 and Marks 9
Marks >=60 and Marks 8
Marks >=55 and Marks 7
Marks >=50 and Marks 6
Marks >=45 and Marks 5
Marks >=40 and Marks 4
Marks 0

Candidates must note that if they score an ‘F’ or do not achieve the DU pass marks in any exam, they must re-appear for the paper.

Letter Grade: Abbreviations

Further, students must check the abbreviations for the DU Grading System 2024.

Letter Grade: Abbreviations
Outstanding
A+ Excellent
A Very Good
B+ Good
B Above Average
C Average
D Pass
F Fail

According to the grades secured by candidates, the varsity will issue a Grade Certificate to all the registered candidates after every semester, and a consolidated transcript following the DU Grading System 2024 will be issued once all the semesters are completed.

The DU grade certificate will involve course details such as,

  • Title of paper
  • Number of credits
  • Grade secured
  • SGPA of each semester
  • CGPA based on all six semesters

DU passing marks and internal and semester exam weightage has been distributed in a 25:75 ratio. On the other hand, the semester exam weightage is based on the exam paper. Students can check the ratios of the weightage distribution for internal assessment below.

DU Passing Marks 2024
Class Tests and Quizzes 10%
Assignments and Reports 10%
Attendance 5%

To qualify for the semester, candidates must score 40% in theory and 40% in practical in all subjects. For example, if a student secures above 40% in theory, but zero in practical, then they will be considered failed in practical.

Therefore, the examinees must score 40% in both theory and practical.

DU Passing Mark Scheme

Per the new DU passing mark scheme, which the Executive Council passed on Feb 3, 2024, on the internal assessment pattern, the University has reduced the weightage of semester-end centralised exams for a theory-based paper to 56%.

In the previous years, the internal assessment weightage was 25%, although now the weightage has increased.

DU Passing Criteria

After checking both DU Grading System 2024 and the DU passing mark, students can review the promotion criteria for Delhi University.

  • For promotion from Part 1 to Part 2, candidates must pass 50% of the papers in semesters I and II to be eligible for ‘Pass’ status.
  • For promotion from Part 2 to Part 3, candidates must have passed 50% papers of Semesters III and IV combined.
  • Candidates must qualify for promotion from Part 3 to Part 4 in 50% of papers of Semesters V and VI.
  • Students who do not meet the criteria mentioned above will be considered ‘Fail’.

The DU grading system 2024 is based on the popular ‘Choice based credit system’. To understand what the foundation of the system is, candidates can take a look at the following points.

  • The CBCS DU grading system and percentages aim for overall development in actual marks.
  • It is a more transparent identification system for teacher-learner engagement.
  • Many components such as classroom, attendance, internals, semester exams, assignments, and theory and practical evaluations are considered when it comes to evaluation.
  • A 10-point grading system is followed by DU, where 10 points stand for ‘Outstanding’ or O, whereas zero stands for ‘Absent’ or ‘Fail’.

DU Grading System 2024: Grade Point System, Passing Marks

  • DU Grading System 2024: Important Pointers

DU Passing Marks Required

Du grading system 2024, du grading system: passing marks weightage, du grade certificate.

DU Grading System

DU Grading System: In recent years, Delhi University (DU) has undergone many changes related to its grading system. The new modified grading system has certain changes in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), emphasizing continuous evaluation and comprehensive student development. Before the year 2019, the passing criteria and marking patterns were different. Students should go through the details of DU passing marks guidelines and analyze them carefully so that they do not have any confusion about it. The student should try and attempt to pass the exam at once without any backlogs. This is because re-appearing for the exams in the failed subjects not only wastes crucial time but also can cause trouble to the students who are seeking admission to the universities for higher studies after completing the academic year in DU. Discover more details about the DU grading system 2024 through this article.

DU Grading System 2024: Important Pointers

The DU grading system 2024 operates under the widely used 'Choice Based Credit System', popularly known as CBCS. To grasp the system's foundation, consider these key points:

  • CBCS DU grading prioritizes overall development reflected in actual marks.
  • It establishes a transparent identification system to enhance teacher-learner engagement.
  • Evaluation encompasses various components such as classroom activities, attendance, internals, semester exams, assignments, and both theory and practical assessments.
  • DU employs a 10-point grading system, with 10 points denoting 'Outstanding' (O), while zero represents 'Absent' or 'Fail.

After examining both the DU Grading System 2024 and the DU passing marks, students can explore the promotion criteria for Delhi University:

  • To progress from Part 1 to Part 2, students must pass 50% of the papers in semesters I and II for a 'Pass' status.
  • To advance from Part 2 to Part 3, passing 50% of papers in Semesters III and IV combined is required.
  • For promotion from Part 3 to Part 4, students must qualify for 50% of papers in Semesters V and VI.
  • Those who don't meet these criteria will be considered as 'Fail'.

In the year 2019, the DU authority made some significant changes in the DU grading system and marking pattern. As per the revised DU grading system 2024, the university will mention grades in place of the percentage in the student’s marksheet. These grades will be based on the percentage received by the students and will declare how the students have performed in the exams. The students will be allocated respective grades in the range of 0 to 10 and will be provided letter grades that will have significant meanings which are mentioned in the table below: The grade of the student will be decided by the university by calculating the marks of the students according to the specific formula used by the university. The grades allocated to the students based on their percentage of marks are mentioned in the table below

Apart from the changes in DU passing marks, there are many other changes in the marking pattern that the university council has made. Another prominent change that the university has made is regarding the promotion of the student to the next year of the course. As per the laid guidelines, the promotion of the student from 1st year to 2nd year is only possible when the student obtains 50% passing marks in all the subjects in 1st semester and 2nd semester together. The 50% criteria of passing marks for promotion was earlier too. As per the earlier guidelines, if the student fails to obtain 50% passing marks in the subjects, it did not affect the entire promotion. This is because DU used to declare the student as ‘failed’ only in the part of the specific subjects in which the student has failed. After being promoted to the 2nd year, the student was provided the option to clear the subjects with backlogs with an extra exam fee.

The allocation of passing marks is determined by the university's guidelines. As per the DU grading system, marks are divided in a 25:75 ratio, with 25% from internal assessment and 75% from semester exam scores. The passing percentage for marks in DU is provided below:

Particulars Weightage

Internal Assessment

25%

Semester Exam

75%

DU Passing Marks 2024

The significance of semester exam marks is solely based on the scores achieved in the exam. However, for internal assessments, there are subdivisions of marks. Delhi University follows specific ratios and divisions for different components of the internal assessment marks:

Particulars

Weightage

Class Tests and Quizzes

10%

Assignments and Reports

10%

Attendance

5%

Note: To pass a semester, students need to achieve a minimum of 40% in both theory and practicals for all subjects. If a student scores above 40% in theory but zero in practicals, they will be considered unsuccessful in the practical aspect. Therefore, examinees need to attain at least 40% in both theory and practical components.

As per the grades obtained by candidates, Delhi University will issue a ‘Grade Certificate’ to all the registered candidates after every semester. When the result is declared, a consolidated transcript following the DU Grading System 2024 will be issued to the candidates online once all the semesters are completed. The DU grade certificate or the mark sheet will involve course details and various other details such as:

  • Title of paper
  • Number of credits
  • Grade secured
  • SGPA of each semester
  • CGPA based on all six semesters

In recent years, the students of Delhi University have noticed several changes in the rules of marking patterns of the university. It must be noted that the passing mark will be the same as the 40% as mentioned above, but the only thing that the university will mention is grades on the mark sheet for different subjects in a particular semester. Are you feeling lost and unsure about what career path to take after completing 12th standard?

Say goodbye to confusion and hello to a bright future!

The student who wants to appear for an improvement exam or clear backlog in any subject can appear for the exam in an alternate semester. For example- if a student receives a backlog in the first semester, he/she can appear for improvement exams in the third semester.

In Delhi University's 2024 grading system, attaining a Distinction goes beyond passing marks. Here's the key information: - Minimum Requirement: Achieve 75% or above in the aggregate of all courses within your program/semester. Factors to Consider: - Internal Assessments (56% weightage): Excel in assignments, projects, quizzes, and presentations for a strong foundation towards Distinction. - End-semester Examinations (44% weightage): Despite lower weightage, performing well in exams is crucial. Aim for high scores to enhance your chances.

Note: Weightage distribution may vary by program/course. Consult your department/instructor for specific details.

A 7.5 CGPA in DU is generally considered good, falling into the "First Division" category. However, the perception of "goodness" can vary based on individual goals and context: - Above Average: It exceeds the typical DU CGPA range of 6.5 to 7.0. - Opens Opportunities: Qualifies for many higher education programs in India and abroad. - Reflects Academic Excellence: Indicates consistent understanding and effort across multiple semesters. Ultimately, whether a 7.5 CGPA is good for you depends on your unique circumstances and ambitions. Consider your specific goals and consult academic advisors or program information for a more detailed perspective.

As per the guidelines, the final result in DU is the combined result of marks secured in all the semesters of a particular course under the CBCS system.

In DU's 2024 system, what qualifies as a good grade depends on the situation. Typically, scoring 40% or above in both internal assessments and exams is deemed passing. Yet, striving for higher scores, particularly in internals (weighted at 56%), proves advantageous for achieving a good CGPA and showcasing continuous learning. Keep in mind that specific requirements may differ based on the program or course, so consult your department for precise details.

As students start their college life at du, it is important to know the significance of getting minimum passing marks at delhi university..

admin

Delhi University stands as an ideal of academic excellence in India. It is famous for its rich history, diverse courses, and distinguished faculty. Esteemed by students and scholars alike, DU has set high academic standards. There is a need to achieve minimum passing marks at DU.

It is an integral part of the of students’ assessment to get minimum passing marks at DU in their courses. This limit is very important so that students must take their academic journey seriously within the university.

This article includes all details about the minimum passing marks at DU. There are many students who aspire to graduate with a high percentage from this prestigious institution. They need not only to understand the course material but also the role of this passing marks criteria.

DU Passing Marks 2023: Grade Points and Marking System

The grading system at Delhi University has recently undergone significant changes in 2023. Under the new education system, there is a shift in the weightage of components of assessment.

How the requirement of minimum passing marks at DU has changed with change in grading system

The weightage of end-semester examinations has reduced. Now, instead of accounting for 45% of the total marks, students need to take internal assessments seriously. Because they hold a higher weightage at 55%. This means that 90 out of 160 marks will be of internal assessment with a 45:55 ratio.

The National Education Policy has introduced several changes in the distribution of marks. These changes show a more balanced role of continuous internal assessment throughout the year. It allows students to prove their understanding and knowledge of their course instead of relying on final examinations.

These grades are then converted into letter grades. DU measures the performance on a scale of 0 to 10, with 10 being the highest score students can achieve. After confirming their score, it converts that into a letter grade.

Marks >=80 and Marks <=100O10
Marks >=70 and Marks <=80A+9
Marks >=60 and Marks <=70A8
Marks >=55 and Marks <=60B+7
Marks >=50 and Marks <=55B6
Marks >=45 and Marks <=50C5
Marks >=40 and Marks <=45D4
Marks <40F0

Students need to understand that they have to get the minimum passing marks at DU to avoid receiving an ‘F’ grade. They will need to retake that specific exam. In other words, if you do not pass a particular paper, you will have to give it another try. This rule emphasises the university’s commitment to maintaining academic standards. It ensures that students demonstrate a certain level of knowledge and proficiency in their chosen subjects.

It is important for students to know the abbreviations used in the DU Grading System for the year 2023. Understanding these abbreviations is crucial for students as they navigate their academic journey within Delhi University. These abbreviations represent key elements of the grading system, such as letter grades, grade points, and more.

This demonstrates DU’s adaptability to modern educational standards, as outlined in the National Education Policy of 2020.

DU’s grading system, ranging from 0 to 10 and converted into letter grades. It provides a comprehensive means of assessing and communicating academic performance. It allows students to gauge their progress and educators to understand their students’ achievements more effectively.

CINCINNATI -- Third baseman Noelvi Marte (the Reds' No. 2 prospect ) began a rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Louisville, the final step before he can return from an 80-game suspension.

Marte, who is ranked as MLB Pipeline’s No. 28 overall prospect , went 2-for-5 with a first-inning double and a run scored during a 3-2 loss to St. Paul. He is eligible to return on June 27, when the Reds are at St. Louis.

"There’s no progression or plan to play parts of games. He’s ready to play nine innings," Reds manager David Bell said.

Marte, 22, was suspended by MLB on March 8 after he tested positive for Boldenone, a banned anabolic-androgenic steroid. His punishment also included his ineligibility for the postseason.

Speaking to reporters on Monday for the first time since being disciplined, Marte could not explain how or why he tested positive.

“In reality, it just appeared in my system," Marte said via translator Jorge Merlos. "I really don’t know how it came about unfortunately. That’s as far as I know.”

One of the lessons learned is to be more aware of what goes into his body going forward.

“I think when I go back to the Dominican, I will make sure I’m really well [aware of] how all of my diet is going on and make sure I have the right people behind me and I trust those people as well, as much as possible," Marte said.

“I live in a country that doesn’t have the same health system that you see normally here in the States. I have to make sure and look over everything that is going on and that my process is [good] enough that these results won’t come back again.”

Losing Marte, coupled with Spring Training injuries to Matt McLain and TJ Friedl, left Cincinnati's lineup shorthanded. Although the club carried a winning record to the end of April (16-14), a 9-18 record in May sunk the Reds to the bottom of the National League Central standings. Only in the past two weeks has there been an upswing.

All Marte could do was see his team struggle from afar as he worked out at the Reds’ Spring Training complex in Arizona and in the Dominican Republic.

“It was difficult to watch the games knowing I wouldn’t be able to be out there to help that team," he said. "I kind of felt anxious and ready to get back, a little bit distraught that I wouldn’t be able to be out there. The good news is now they’re on a better streak. Fortunately, I’ll be able to be there soon to support them.”

Upbeat during his 15-plus-minute media session via Zoom, Marte praised the support he has received from the Reds.

“The whole team has had my back since they learned about the suspension," Marte said. "We’ve been in communication. They’ve talked to me ever since. I don’t think that it’s going to change anything that goes on with the team.”

Marte maintained that he did all he could to stay in shape to be ready for when his suspension ended.

“I feel like I’ve worked so much harder than I ever have coming into any season," he said. "I’m really happy with the work I’ve been able to do to prepare myself to come back.”

Marte slashed .316/.366/.456 in 35 games and 123 plate appearances in the big leagues last season. He was expected to play third base for the club heading into this year.

The plan at Louisville is for Marte to mostly play third. But he will also see some time at his natural position, shortstop, and at second base.

While Marte might feel supported by his own team, fans might be less forgiving of a player who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. That could especially be the case at a division rival's city, like St. Louis.

Marte was not worried about the reaction to his situation.

"Who knows what type of reaction fans will give back to me?" Marte said. "I can only control what I can control and we’ll leave it in the hands of God to decide what happens.”

Chicago Juneteenth events: Museums, festivals, food trucks and more | See list

WLS logo

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when enslaved people of African descent in Galveston, Texas learned that they were free. That was more than two years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation.

ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. Click here to watch

Here are some Juneteenth events happening around Chicago on Wednesday, June 19:

Juneteenth Celebration at DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center

The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center is holding its annual free Juneteenth festival. The event offers music performances, food trucks and vendors from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. More information to this event can be found here .

The celebration at the museum is in its third year, and it is the largest observation of the holiday in the city.

Crowds showed up Wednesday despite the heat, enjoying the music, the vendors and the food trucks, but most of all it is a recognition of what the day represents.

"I'm 62 years old, and I did not know anything about Juneteenth when I was younger," Kristine Hansberry said.

Kristine is the niece of playwright Lorraine Hansberry, the author of the play "A Raisin in the Sun." Hansberry says her Aunt would have been inspired by the holiday.

"I think that may have been another play... may have been 'Raisin in the Juneteenth," Hansberry said.

With each observation of Juneteenth, the holiday becomes a history lesson for a wider audience.

"They toiled under enslavement for an extra two and a half years not knowing, deliberately not being told that they were free people," said Perri Irmer, President and CEO of the DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center.

A performance from singer Glenn Jones caps off the day.

'Life Within The Lens: Juneteenth Edition'

At Chicago's Music Box Theater, "Life Within The Lens: Juneteenth Edition" will feature five short films. All of them, the works of Black filmmakers here in Chicago. Click here for more information.

Boxing Out Negativity Juneteenth Celebration

Join Boxing Out Negativity at 1616 S. Avers Ave. for its fourth annual Juneteenth celebration. The event will run from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 19. More information about this event can be found here .

Juneteenth Market

The Juneteenth Market at the Promontory in Chicago will host 30 Black-owned businesses, DJ sets and local food vendors. This event is free and open to the public from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

360 CHICAGO Honors Juneteenth

360 CHICAGO at the John Hancock Building will honor Juneteenth by featuring Black-owned businesses from noon to 2 p.m. Tickets are required for entry and will include free admission to shop with the featured vendors. Tickets can be purchased here .

Juneteenth Day Party

Celebrate Juneteenth with music, food and more from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Virgin Hotels Chicago. Tickets for this event can be purchased here .

Chicago Walk For Freedom

Dr. Opal Lee, called by some the "grandmother of Juneteenth," is hosting a nationwide 2.5 mile walk.

The distance represents the amount of time it took to enforce President Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation.

Chicago's 'Walk for Freedom' is taking place at 9 a.m., starting at 31st Street Beach.

Aurora Juneteenth

The City of Aurora is concluding its weeklong celebration of Juneteenth with a Youth Summit Wednesday morning...and a Juneteenth flag raising ceremony Wednesday afternoon.

More than 100 predominantly Black young people will gather to hear and be part of different discussions on a variety of topics, including college preparation and how to interact with law enforcement.

That's from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the North Island Center.

Aurora's flag raising ceremony starts just 30 minutes later at 1 p.m. at the same location.

Visual calculations update

Support for scatter plot and maps

You have asked, and we’ve delivered: scatter plots and maps are now supported with visual calculations! This means you can now add visual calculations to these visual types. Please note that the play axis is not yet supported.

The profit visual calculation (which subtracts sales amount and total product cost per color) is used as a size for the bubbles in the scatter plot.

Highlights in visual matrix

If you look closely at the previous screenshots, you might notice we have added a highlight to the visual matrix to indicate which visual calculation you are editing. We plan to rely on the visual matrix to make working with visual calculations even easier in the future. This highlight is just the first step of our plans.

For more information about visual calculations read our documentation . Please try the preview today and  let us know what you think .

Power BI Home in Desktop is now generally available!

We are excited to announce that the new Power BI Home in Desktop is now generally available! Introduced last February, this update brings new functionalities that make it easier for users to create reports. With data sources directly accessible from the home screen and enhanced discoverability features like the recommendation section and the quick access list, getting started is simpler than ever.

Check out the documentation to learn more about all the new features and start using them today.

We are thrilled to announce that you can now download your large semantic models to Power BI Desktop as a .pbix file! Previously you could only edit reports connected to these models in live connected report mode . Now you can open and edit your reports and the large model itself as a .pbix file all within Desktop! This unlocks the full end to end Desktop authoring experience you know and love for your large semantic models.

Learn more information including limitations in our documentation .

New INFO functions are available in June 2024. All the INFO functions are DAX function versions of existing Analysis Services Dynamic Management Views (DMVs), so that documentation is provided here for additional information.

INFO.CALCDEPENDENCY DISCOVER_CALC_DEPENDENCY
INFO.CATALOGS DBSCHEMA_CATALOGS
INFO.PROPERTIES MDSCHEMA_PROPERTIES

And all INFO functions can now take optional input parameters . As DMVs these optional input parameters are called restrictions. For all the INFO functions this includes their columns, but some have additional restrictions. INFO.CALCDEPENCY can specify QUERY as one if it’s restrictions, or optional input parameters, allowing you to analyze the items in the semantic model needed for that DAX query. This is helpful when analyzing what is being used by the semantic model in a DAX query from a visual in a report.

For example, these are valid uses of INFO functions with and without the input parameters:

Additionally, a bug with the copy functionality of the results grid has been fixed. Previously, if the results included a blank cell the copy did not work. Now copy works with blank cells, and we included a right-click copy as well as the option to choose if you want to copy the entire table or just the selected cells from the copy button.

du assignment marks

Copy > Entire table will include the headers. Copy > Selected cells by selecting all the cells, including if you click the table icon in the top left of the results, will not include the headers.

Show Visuals as Tables

We strive to make the Power BI mobile app as accessible as possible for everyone. That’s why, in this month’s update, we’ve added the Show Visuals as Tables view mode to all reports. Use this feature to instantly view all the visuals (excluding slicers, cards, and non-data-driven visuals) in your report as table visuals. This feature makes it possible for users who rely on accessibility screen readers to read the underlying data presented in each visual. It also benefits users who prefer to see their data in tabular form, which is more like viewing it in Excel.

To turn on the Show Visuals as Tables view mode, tap the new button that has been added to the options menu (…) in the report header. The view mode is applied to all pages in the report. To go back to the regular view, tap Show original visuals in the same menu.

Power BI enhanced report format (PBIR)

We are very excited to announce the Power BI enhanced report format (PBIR) for Power BI Project files (PBIP). This marks a significant milestone in achieving the primary goal of Power BI Desktop developer mode: provide source control friendly file formats that unblock co-development and enhance development efficiency.

Power BI Projects (PBIP) now support saving the report and semantic model into a folder using source-control friendly formats: PBIR for the report and TMDL for the semantic model.

du assignment marks

The PBIR file format greatly simplifies the tracking of changes and resolution of merge conflicts by using properly formatted JSON and organizing each visual, page, bookmark, etc., in separate individual files within a folder structure.

A screenshot of a computer screen Description automatically generated

You can also greatly enhance your report development efficiency, either by simply copy & paste visuals/pages/bookmarks/… files between reports or apply manual/programmatic batch changes to the

PBIR files.

Unlike PBIR-Legacy (report.json), PBIR is a publicly documented format and allows modifications from non-Power BI applications. Each file has a public JSON schema, which documents each property and lets code editors like Visual Studio Code perform syntax validation while editing. On open, Power BI Desktop will validate the changed PBIR files to guarantee successful loading.

How to enable it?

PBIR is currently in preview, and you can only create or convert existing Power BI project files to PBIR using Power BI Desktop. You must first enable the feature in Power BI Desktop preview features: go to  File  >  Options and settings  >  Options  >  Preview features  and check the box next to “Store reports using enhanced metadata format (PBIR)”.

During preview, Fabric Git Integration  and Fabric REST Apis will continue to use PBIR-Legacy (report.json) when exporting the report definitions. However, if the report is imported into Fabric using PBIR format, then both features will start exporting the report definition using PBIR format. At General Availability, PBIR will become the default report format.

Limitations

Initially, the PBIR format will have some service restrictions, such as:

  • Unable to publish the report in Power BI App.
  • Unable to use subscriptions.
  • Unable to download PBIX.

These restrictions will be removed in the following months.

Find out more about PBIR and the limitations of Public Preview in our documentation .

The “Download Button by JTA” is a custom visual designed specifically for Power BI users, empowering them to export large datasets effortlessly.

Enhanced Data Export: Download up to 300,000 rows and 15 columns of data in CSV format

Customizable Interface: Tailor the visual interface to match the reporting style

Constraints:

The custom visual leverages the browser’s cache memory. It works by fetching data in chunks of 30k rows, storing each chunk in the browser’s cache until the entire dataset is compiled for download. This incremental approach requires the use of browser memory to ensure seamless processing. Unfortunately, this means that the visual does not operate as intended in Power BI Desktop due to technical constraints and security restrictions within that environment and you must use the Power BI Service.

For the very same reason, there’s a possibility that it may encounter limitations or restrictions in certain browsers. Each browser has its own set of security measures and permissions that can affect how our visual operates.

If you liked what you saw, you can try it for yourself and find more information here .

Also, if you want to download it, you can find the visual package on the AppSource .
